I have gotten permission to upload consignments without having a video ready to go! A lot of us are having difficulty getting videos with mud, winter hair etc! We really want to start listing horses as we have had a lot of people asking where they are already! So, if you can either fill out the information forms and send them to me or enter the info yourself at www.perfecthorseauctions.com , everything is a go! We can add photos and videos as they become available! If you need any help, let me know!

Reasons to Check Out the Sale!

Entry fee is only expense: $100/horse for nonmembers, $75 /horse for 2012 NMRHA members.

No commissions charged to seller.

Seller sets the opening bid and reserve for his horse. No pass out fees charged to seller if horse does not sell.

Bids cannot be run up on a buyer – this happens oh too often at live auctions. Once a bid is placed it is a legal, binding contract to purchase the horse. It cannot be withdrawn. Seller may not bid on his own horse.

No added expenses to cover auctioneers, ringmen, staff, facility rental, cleanup, etc etc. – our auction is fully automated.

At the end of the auction, seller, buyer and association are immediately notified by email if the horse sells or does not sell.

Buyer is informed of winning bid, instructions for payment and contact information at the end of the sale.

Online auction can reach buyers locally, nationally and internationally – greatly increasing the number of people who can and will bid on your horses.

Buyers have time to contact seller to ask questions and preview horse or agent/trainer/friend in area preview horse.

Buyers can find shippers in area and get quotes ahead of time for shipping costs. (They can do this on several horses in the auction if they should decide to purchase more or for their 2nd, 3rd, 4th choice.)

No travel, lodging, food, stabling, etc expenses for buyer and seller.

Buyer can request a vet check from seller if they are the winning bidder. The buyer is responsible for the cost of the vet check. If the horse does not pass the vet check (excluding items disclosed during the sale), the buyer is not obligated to complete the sale.

Animals are not stressed by hauling, sale ring and exposure to disease.

All terms of auction are placed on the website www.nmrha.com. Buyers and sellers are legally responsible when they register to understand and abide by the terms of the auction.

Videos and photos professionally display your horse to its advantage.

A link to your website can be added to sale listing for your horse.

Sell your horse from the convenience of your facility. Buyers can contact seller by phone, email or in person to preview the horse.

Online auctions have become an extremely effective and PROFITABLE tool for marketing horse, livestock and all related equipment, products and services.

NMRHA requests sellers declare any unsoundness – performance and breeding – a horse may have. This is disclosed in the animal description. See above regarding vet check.

Newsletters and emails will be used effectively to market the auction.

Newsletters are provided to members and interested parties. They can then ask to be placed on our mailing list to follow the auction at www.PerfectHorseAuctions.com.

Weekly promotional emails, information updates, sale prices, new sale horses being added and auction results when it ends.

Horses are listed online. New sale horses can be added to the auction even after it goes live. Sale horses can be accepted up until the last day of the auction.

NMRHA Annual Meeting

The annual meeting of the National Morgan Reining Horse Association was held on Thursday, October 13, 2011 in Oklahoma City. In attendance were: Karen Myers, Barb & Steve Elfers, Travis Filipek, Ellen Palillo, Josette Conti, Paul Banzet, Darren & Amie Taber, and Jo Ace. Most projects were revamped or put on hold until club revenues increase.

NMRHA Extravaganza: On hold. No show for 2012.

Discussed and selected patterns for next year’s classes. Karen Myers will submit to the GN show committee.

NMRHA Youth Reining Challenge: To continue but with cash awards for penalty-free maneuvers only. We will provide award jackets for Champion and Reserve Champion which will be made at the World Show. Paul Banzet is checking with a possible vender on site. Smaller awards will be given to all youth participating.

Josette Conti suggested we have a clinic before GN. It was agreed that we would try to get ring time at the show. If we can’t get ring time at the show, it was agreed that we would try to find a place nearby for a day or two before the show to hold the clinic. Josette recommended that Gabe Garrison would help.

NMRHA End of the Year NRHA Competion Awards: To continue. Need to encourage more to participate.

NMRHA Derby: To continue. It will be moved back to the World Show which means only 5 & Under can participate. We will go back to the original rules governing the Derby including nomination etc. It will be supported monetarily by the Sire and Dam program only with no club added money. Your Derby foals are still eligible for free entry. Those horses in above age group not by a sold donated stallion can still enter by paying entry fee. Josette Conti and Paul Banzet will be providing winning coolers for the Open and Non Pro Champions.
