2006 NMRHA Extravaganza Clinics

Working Cowhorse with Monty Bruce

Reining with Heath Herndon

Heath Herndon is one of the best reining clinicians around. He brought his NRHA futurity quarter horse as well as two of his Morgan reiners to demonstrate all levels of training the reining horse. He went through his training techniques from starting the young horse to finishing off the Futurity horse and maintaining a finished reiner. He then fielded questions from the audience which ranged from what he looks for in a reining prospect to how to deal with individual problems. Heath will be the featured clinician at the 2007 Morgan World Show WWC Clinic and Barbecue! Don’t miss it!

If you ever want to have a good time, attend a Monty Bruce Cowhorse Clinic! Those of us on horseback as well as those just watching were treated to an afternoon of great fun as well as learning the ins and outs of the Working Cowhorse Division. Help was geared to each of us individually with participants requesting areas they wanted to cover. Special thanks to Dee Ace for making a food run so we had the energy to work the whole afternoon! Monty will be returning next year for another cowhorse clinic so make sure to come! I guarantee you will have the time of your life!

Extravaganza fun!
